No matter what I try, I always get fruit flies in my garbage within 30 seconds of throwing away any food scraps
I give up, I guess they are my pets now
try getting some chickens and give the food scraps to them instead

It's illegal to grow your own chickens where I live, you must only buy government approved chickens
and government chickens don't eat scraps?
