Thats being said, they measure success based on number of users, and so does open source. So even if you use chatgpt with a triple - hop vpn and a usb-booted linux distro you're still supporting big tech.

Use Venice.ai and support alternatives. They are measured based on users too. Use them, even if it is less convenient.

User numbers are not my concern, I just don't want to feed the beast. And of course, the very creepy privacy factor. They block me when I use VPN and I can't get a sms4sats phone number verification to work.

The need for verification is total bullshit, there is no purpose except to identify and build profiles on their users.

Yeah I was saying you are feeding the beast by simply using it (anonymously). The more users a platform has the more it can get funding and investors. Just by using it you are helping it grow.

They use our inputs to further train the AI, and build a profile on us (anonymous now, but always linkable in the future if they make a correlation through pervasive spying across the web). In my opinion, it is second only to literally speaking with the devil.
