The question is: if your content is truly based wouldn't others repost it till the other time zones are active?

In my opinion nostr's algorithm should be organic in the sense that others like your content enough to keep it visible.

Reposting your own notes just comes off as desperate or egotistical... LOOK AT ME... MY CONTENT IS GENIUS

So you mean to tell me, in an organic setting, you've never told two different groups of people the same story at different intervals? I don't see any difference here.

Oh 💯 have but oral communication is a bit different than having an artifact accessible to others who can bring it to the forefront... Each to his own

My man until we get algorithms here to help people find good content, I'm going to keep telling people to be their own algorithms. It seems to be working thus far. Until that changes, this is the best way to help the plebs have their voices heard. If you're not a fan of it, that's fine. 🫂

The answer is:

No, they wouldn't. I have not observed any correlation between number and frequency of reposts and quality of content. It's the same as the trending lists.

There are a few larger accounts where every GM is reposted by 20 people (and the more insightful posts get no reposts, ironically) and then there's the Great Unwashed, like me.

Repost your own stuff. Otherwise, even your own followers often can't see it in their feed.

the people at the "top" are milque-toast variety, easily offended by unvarnished truth and radical language... like to eat menus and smell eachothers farts ... myriad of reasons - married a fink, fake "friends", monetary and numeric considerations...

wide is the path that leads to hell.
