It's the start of my fourth sober week since I got sick. Ive lost a lot of weight, I've also lost alot of appetites I used to have. I no longer crave coffee anymore, which is crazy because I used to enjoy it so much. Im drinking more tea now. I think the fever I had fried my brain.

I feel like I'm living the life of a monk.

I somehow missed that you were sick. So sorry! Fevers do change brain chemistry. Glad you’re on the mend.

I had a fever off and on for 8 days after Mexico. Highest it got was 103.5°F. Went to the doctor and everything came back negative. So they gave me a steroid shot and antibiotics.

Ive been slowly recovering 😪

Oh dear. IDK if this is relevant, but it may help, whenever I travel, I start taking Airborne, or Elderberry Emergen C for 3 days before boarding, and 3 days after I land, on arrival and exit. The couple who own Aubergine and Crown & Colony Antiques told me, when I worked there, that that is their trick to keep well on their every-3-month trips to the French and Italian markets to stock their shops.

Not to mention a daily swig of elderberry syrup, in addition to my daily, year-round, apple cider vinegar and honey tonic

That’s weird just keep monitoring closely. My wife had pneumonia in 2017 that they missed twice. It’s an easy thing to miss

nostr:npub1uense4apn73tvh4u20tzlp6u72g4kdustzsm0k0sqy6yuwh5jxlsy97y76 say OMG that is serious. Please let us know if there is anything we can do, or you need. We love you, man ♡

Your honey is hitting the spot 👌 🍯 😋

When you're able, let's have lunch.

Did you catch some during a trip?

Monks have pretty good lives, considering…. 🫂🫂

I can only assume I caught it in México or on the way to México.

My dad got really sick and quit coffee, he was in his 50s and a coffee before anything and up late domino playing coffee drinker. He tried it a couple of times and it was a no go. Same with cigarettes. Glad you're feeling better, sad you don't want coffee 🫂

🙏

Wow, fourth sober week already🫡
