dreamed i was swimming with a pod of orcas last night. dropped down to the floor. felt i was in the sea but the bottom was industrial, flat like a tank or pool. i went up a bit & levitated underwater until two orcas (i’ll now call them starboard & port from the article) swam towards me. they were massive. head as big as me. i wasn’t scared. i had a fish in my right hand to feed them. a bit wider than cod but smaller than salmon. big for my hand. they wouldn’t eat it from me so i let it go and some orcas swam to eat it as it fell to the floor. i went up for air.

woke up to read about two orcas in this article which doesn’t make sense: how does one smell shark liver or how does a researcher note it before the shark has been injured? Would mean the orcas found an injured shark. Says “indicated a recent kill” then act as if they are witnessing an attack. Non-sense. Don’t get why the news is all into orcas, the boat thing with them supposedly disabling rudders.

Curious. Anyway, there were a bunch in my dream and they seemed calm & normal. The orcas are ok—let’s just put it that way.

“The team report how a boat was launched shortly after 2pm in response to sightings of Starboard and another killer whale known as Port. As the vessel crossed the water to follow the pair, the researchers describe how a smell of shark liver and the sight of diving kelp gulls indicated a recent kill.

The subsequent attack was rapid: at 3.02pm a juvenile white shark appeared at the surface of the water. Starboard appeared directly after it.”

i should add i sensed they didn’t eat the fish from my hand because they were aware their jaws were too big, so doing so might unintentionally injure me.
