Very nice. Bought my first modded console in Taiwan around that time (all region + played burned discs and games). Got me interested in it.

There was this one shop downtown where you could pick out games (new and old) from a book, give a $5-$15 "donation" to the business per game, and return home to find that the burned discs had "magically" arrived in your mailbox via private motorcycle courier.

It was amazing. Being able to mod and play ripped discs on those consoles was like magic. I had so many games :)
