it's an economic thing though. The logistics to move it to the continent is huge. The only viable options that would be the cheapest to add to the circuit could be Egypt or Morocco, but the further South you go, the price drastically increases.

Imagine the trucks etc. that need to be driven or flown on planes or ships. It's massive vs say European circuits.

You do know it's not a logistics issue, or even whether there's a grade 1 circuit or not, it's just F1 following the money, right?

it is, I used to work for Top Gear South Africa. To move the F1 itself would be costly. I know, because we brought in the Red Bull F1 car 3 times. And that was one car. We also moved our stuff via ship from the wherever it was (Barbados actually) to South Africa. I'm talking trucks on ships and cars in trucks.

The money is there, the net profit not so much.
