Absolutely! If I feel insecure about my data, I either build my own, move to an alternative and maybe pay more or stop 🐶🐾🫡

I can think of the following in general, but I might miss some obvious ones:
* Online shop (contacts details, address)
* Online payments (where you buy)
* Map app (locations you visit)
* Drive (all your files)
* Web search (your thoughts 😂🦙)
* AI (your thoughts..)
Online shop only use trusted and well established companies that have a lot to lose if my info is leaked.
Online payment only limited to where I shop, otherwise I don’t care too much with CC insurance
Map app, Google maps, I don’t care if my location leaks, my phone company already knows where I am, so does my car manufacturer.
Drive, Microsoft Enterprise offering with OneDrive and all the legal protections. Other files are S3 like service with encryption, daily used ones are at home in my own NAS.
Google or whatever works, I don’t care, I am not a big fish and just try to stay under the radar and don’t do stupid shit or searches.
AI is a good tool, frustrating at times, but when it works it’s good. Same as above, stay below the radar and don’t do stupid shit. Mainly OpenAI, and some Co-pilot
