Good article, lots of it applies to nostr. For example FUDing Blockstream is very similar to FUDing OpenSats. A lot of the behavior he describes is stuff people do on their own too. WoT can help with some of it, if it became commonly implemented, but the level of social engineering he's talking about is pretty high, and could probably penetrate even a WoT system.
