I have heard everything from it allows farmers to work more to “energy savings“, but farmers don’t care what time it is, they will work when the sun is up and the time on the clock doesn’t affect that.

It certainly doesn’t save any energy as it gets dark at 5 o’clock in some places which means you have to turn the lights on at night instead of in the morning…literally zero sense!
