I'm blowing it up in fiat land (I know, poor timing) and I'm quitting my job.

The business I work at has provided me with a lot, but there is a lack of structure, no sense of direction, and an abundance of nepotism which has reached a breaking point.

The owners son got angry at a slight critique and walked out on his shift. Left for a week with no communication, and now he is back like nothing ever happened. He's the highest paid employee here too.

If it wasn't for Bitcoin I probably would've kept letting it slide, but I have been afforded an opportunity to seek a better situation. I want to surround myself with people who reflect my values and push me to be a better version of myself.

Looking for advice - how do you approach a job search?

Wow congrats! It’s a tough step but always worthwhile to get out of your comfort zone and dive into something new. In terms of the job search question, what industry are you looking for?

Short term, I'm looking to make a parallel move and find another restaurant job where I can get some money while I finish school. I have experience managing and had responsibilities like making a schedule, hiring employees, and optimizing payroll.

Long term, I have an associates degree now and will have a bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Blockchain (that word sucks lol) and I really want to do something which is related to economics, Bitcoin, and personal finance. There are a few local organizations which help youth manage debt and do financial planning which are interesting, but that would pay significantly less.

I really appreciate the support - I'm venting to you all because I know people on here are full of great advice and lots of life experience. Ultimately I'm sure the path will become clear but it feels very shaky now.
