Wow people have completely forgotten or are unaware of the scaling efficiencies created in bitcoin over the past 10 years and literally think L1 doesn't scale at all just b/c it's not as efficient as layers above it.

There have been several improvements to L1 in the last 10 years some of which created order of magnitude efficiencies.

Schnorr for example in taproot can be many 100s of percent faster than ECDSA depending on what you're using it for.
