We visited Ireland for the first time this year - Adare, Killarney, Dingle, Limerick - and seriously considered moving. We were told that the Irish were a fiercely independent group that take property rights seriously, on account of those rights only recently having been restored.

Even still, while we were there I read a head line of the cow killing plan to combat climate and it seemed like something very anti freedom had taken over the country. I realized then was not the time to relocate to the EU if freedom and sovereignty is a priority.

6 months later and I can’t believe how little the Irish powers think of freedom and rights. Sadly, I can’t see relocating to the land of my ancestors. Damn it. ☘️ 🇮🇪
