Not a good look for Durov to associate with the shady Halvorssen
Has Durov given you any reasons to assume sincere behavior or motives?
Aside from that, what background dealings can you expect if he managed to evade his criminal charges unscathed enough to freely appear at this conference at this time.
My knowledge & understanding of Durov is like a large jigsaw puzzle I have only recently emptied from its box. The remark about his associating with Halvorssen was like identifying an edge piece and moving it to one side.
I like the metaphor. To my understanding his public recognition solely comes from his connection to Telegram, which looks like any average, proprietary messenger, with the occasional politically controversy tied to its user base. Why care about any of it on a technology level?
