any australian property people here at all? do we think there be a good time to buy a house anytime soon within australia?

renting is very unaffordable, but so is a mortgage - my plan is to wait for company allocated shares to come through and then i’ll sell those for a house deposit (sometime in the next year)

but knowing my luck i’ll do exactly that, and house prices will just fall off a cliff over the next few years

thoughts?
