this thing about "nips being approved" and in this case "buds being approved" is quite funny

if you know it works, just build it

you know why "being approved" matters? because the majority of important clients are built by guardians of the nips

you know what the solution is? start building towards your own clients

they are not competent or qualified to be guardians of the protocol if they can't comprehend the need to innovate, and if that innovation doesn't happen, there is a net harm in that existing problems remain unsolved

my personal take on this is forget about trying to get approval from the nip guardians, write the spec, and get some quality client devs to integrate it, build a team and get a typescript library written for it, done

then after that the nip guardians are playing catch-up

this is why #gitcitadel has happened

Totally agree—waiting for approval isn’t building. That’s why BUD-07 is already developed and working. You can try it here: https://playground.nostrcheck.me. While some keep debating about guardians and approvals, we just make it happen. 😉🫂
