I listened to an interesting podcast recently that speculated that the US could mark the value to market and unlock $800B in value. There is also a very large buyer taking physical delivery right now and some believe it has to be the US.
"stolen"? that would be a feat. sent to other interests with intention is far more likely. I wonder how much gold is in the City of London? How much gold is under Israeli control?
