End of the 19th century iron casters in the UK started to cast at night with a full moon 🌕 out, because they couldn’t figure out why it works some time and sometimes not. So, they started to believe in hocus pocus “a fiat-solution” :)

Today they know why, they know about heat, heat distribution, timing, viscosity, melting points, humidity, chemistry, metallurgy, molecules, bacteria…

Nobody understands a complex system on her/his own, but they do work and change humanity.
