btw. is there an option to have the confirmation buttons on the far side of the notebook - like it is in your picture? Often, I accidentally press backspace when I try to change from characters to numbers. That would be less likely if backspace were next to the notebook.

The confirmation button is already on the far right side of the device. The upper sensor is divided into three button regions that are all the same size.
I just tried. The confirmation button is on the far side when the bitbox is plugged in on the right side of a notebock but when it is plugged in on the leftside backspace is on the far side. My Macbook doesn’t have a port on the right. That is sad.
