He's sort of used to it, as Germany companies are always in recession, seems like.

Can't even remember a time when the economy was healthy. Just a short period of Inflation after Corona.

Dang. Well I hope you both hang in there.

I’m sure everything will be okay.

🫂👊🫂💯

I told him he should quit, too, and do some coding for my Nostr project.

I second. What's your project?

Nostr SDK in C++ is first.

Then a relay, a tool API and a simple long-form blog feed on our webportal.

Then... 5 year road map. 😂

Nice. Good luck with that. I'm considering writing a Nostr client for #emacs. I'd have to write the front-end and the back-end myself tho...

That sounds fun!👍🏼

Our API will also function as a client.

It's fun, I'd just have to buckle down and do it. I'm not so good at that... 😐

Due to moronic energy policies the economy is going to only get worse in Germany unfortunately. No investment in tech. Instead some fiat startups larping with “one app for everything” and similar big brain ideas, eating up capital making nothing. As I see it today Germany’s best short term bet is weed. let people sell weed, cheap and easy to get licenses. So coffee shops spring up all over the country, dethrone Amsterdam bring tourists from all over the world.

Probably the government plan, TBH. 😂

One can hope 😂 The problem with German government, they are unapologetically incompetent.

Well, they are solving high energy prices with high energy prices, but what is left of the industry, when they're done, remains to be seen.

From the biggest energy substack account on the planet.
