Has anyone built a simple way to cross post to Nostr/Twitter/Threads?
Discussion
Working on something like that right now actually
Can you tell us more about how you think it should work? I bet a bunch of people would be happy to give feedback and share ideas early
I'm building a service around it but it's nothing complicated. It's just an ETL job on a schedule with a checkpointing algorithm.
I'm tackling from the perspective of creating an aggregated feed of items the user wants from around the Internet that they can follow. Less so posting as the user themselves from other personas from around the Internet. But that may be a future enhancement.

Cross-platform bridges are a good door to the people who still don't want to give up their walled gardens. Love seeing potential ways to be owner of your data on nostr and still distribute in other social media accounts <3
Exactly. I worry that “data ownership” is not a big enough driver for the average person, but create in one place distribute everywhere could be a great tool to increasing the interestingness of content available on Nostr. And then Nostr wins if it can also assemble the most interesting conversations around that content.
Imagine a service which is not pitched as a nostr service. e.g. “PostEverywhere”
Do you post the same ideas on Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn, and other places?
"PostEverywhere” makes that easy.
oh, btw, it also posts to Nostr (and creates an account there if you don’t have one)
PostEverywhere could be great onboarding usecase.🔥
Even now the tools that people have to edit and publish at their own convenience at each service are very limited, so tackling that friction point at the same time as you giving them a “universal ID” for all accounts would✨ be swell 💙
From where? Like the POSSE way? https://indieweb.org/POSSE
