So great to see open mindedness to the nature of our physics and possibilities of tech.
Another way to look at the aether and its effects:
There is no empty space, but to reach that conclusion one has to examine the nature of magnetism which gives rise to the physical world. There are only two field modalities that really need to be understood.
(From my notes, parts of this have been gathered from the work of others so I claim no originality.)
MAGNETISM is spatial, a centrifugal force.
MAGNETISM is the outward discharge of energy (the dielectric) that creates space. It is the field of lineal force & motion (torque), the very mechanism by which mass is instantiated. This outward magnetic emanation, arising from the polarized dielectric medium, is the genesis of spatial dimensionality, and the mechanism for energy discharge. The magnetic field pushes outward, creating the very "space" that our limited perception believes to be empty. It gives mass and volume to the world we live in.
DIELECTRICITY is counterspacial, a centripetal force vector.
DIELECTRICITY identifies the dielectric as the origin of charge, inertia and acceleration. Dielectricity is the realm of counterspace, the inward convergence of force that destroys space or, more accurately, compresses it into potential. This is where charge resides, where the ultimate inertia is found. This centripetal action is what binds & organizes, providing the counter-pressure to the magnetic expansion.
This describes the two sides of a magnetic field; inverse vortices, one creating 'space' and the other destroying it, continuously.
