I'm not sure there's anything wrong with demanding the existing power structure do what's right. If we think that's more important than subsidiarity, that would be a problem.

Real change comes from building systems that don’t rely on mercy.

Real change occurs from taking action when authority attempts to prevent digital currency from remaining private as it always has been. doesn't matter that it resulted from an imperfect system that will come later.
