Modesty is in the eye of the beholder. "Drawing the male gaze" is what you try to avoid if you're being modest, but it's an impossible hurdle because some men are always looking.
I think any kind of braiding looks nice and never looks immodest, imo. Hairpieces add beauty and elegance. I think just like all women's hairstyles haha. Tbh, I probably don't know what counts as immodest.
I don't, either. Even tying it up in an ugly bun will get someone going, if he's thirsty enough. 🥴
I have headcoverings, but I've had men inform me that hiding my hair is even 🔥 than displaying it, so the futility is real.
At this point, I just do whatever.
Just do what you want and what looks nice when you look at it 🤷♂️
Yeah, I think some men are just easily excited and that's their problem.
It's amazing how little it takes, nowadays. Everyone complains that women look so butch or dowdy, but if you try to be more feminine, everyone freaks out, because they aren't used to seeing it.
