It’s not a matter of understanding as much as it is a matter of practical application of rule. It’s ultimately a religious war for “holy” ground. Total occupation is the only applicable solution.

I disagree.

The Zionists are not religious jews at all.

This is completely political for access to their allies in the west to the ports on the sea coast and possibly some oil reserves too.

The ports on the sea coast alone save the anglo-sphere 6000 miles per trip to Asia by cutting trough between Africa and the Middle East.

Most religious jews are actually against the state of Israel as its against their religion to have a state.

It’s not surprising that the conflict boils down to resources. Don’t misunderstand, I’m not a fan of the Israeli state, I never have been. I just dislike seeing people suffer and die at the hands of imperious bastards. There is a time to run with the purpose of saving your children from inevitable death when the support for the empire is just too strong to oppose.
