It was really a governance war. All parties wanted a block size increase. What was at stake, was whether bitcoin would be open development or proprietary.

Absolutely 🤠🤙 for me it also highlights the power and importance of running your own node. But with great power comes great responsibilty 🤓 in hindsight it all seems obvious, but everything could have gone a different direction 👀

Archives are still there. This was one of the main battle grounds. UASF was just huge. It changed the game theory alot. Biggest factor in the end was the futures market, but it was a combination of things.
