Tailscale has been amazing for homelabs. Was way easier to set up than OpenVPN or Wireguard set up.
It also backdoors your network. wireguard is simpler and more secure

Does headscale do the same? That’s what I landed on and haven’t looked back.
If you’re using headscale its fine, but seems so much more complicated unless you have tons of nodes
