Could we like... keep a public list of products that preforms "active listening"?

I would like to know

1. what products are capable

2. which do it

3. how to disable it if no alternative device is available :)

Probably a fool’s errand.

If you follow the money and see the AI revolution coming, the only way to address this is turn everything off.

Without Snowden whistleblowing we wouldn’t know any of this was happening. And he didn’t have all the information at the time, much less now.

Call them out, raise the issue, do the things but seems like whack a mole at this point.

I think open-sourced wachamole is quite powerful. Equally we could list safe products and promote them.

The idea is to spotlight the problem and promote the better alternative. Working woth the market, brining in a financial incentive to respect privacy.

But I also get your point :)

I've changed my mind. The reverse is better. To highlight products that are privacy approved.

But that would also include making a list & checking it twice ;)
