The only violent rap I listened to was Wutang, NWA etc... I did listen to a lot of death metal and heavy metal. Still do on occasion but will wait till my kids are a little older for that introduction.

I went through an extreme metal phase, the crazier the louder the better. I can still appreciate the music, but now my tastes change by the day 😂. Everyday is almost a "Hmmm, do I want to listen to drony music that makes you melt away, or metal music that melts your face off?"
