I don't know why you would use a Primal link instead of a nostr.com link that is neutral and has links to all clients on itself.

I just found out about this newish nostr.com capability.

I read jewish

The inline quotes that nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg supports make it for the best reading experience, which Twitter people might not know about.

Support the neutral approach also

You shouldn't make your content tailored to one specific renderer, that is a very clear recipe for centralization in an otherwise open network.

Because we didn’t know about it 🤷‍♂️ We will certainly check it out though, thanks for the friendly advice.

#nostr world problems - it’s difficult to keep up with everything even when you’re on here day

It’s a cool tool I’m glad we got to play with it. The problem is most new users aren’t going to appreciate the vast choice of clients (yet), and we don’t want to overwhelm someone dipping their toes in Nostr. Nostr.com also doesn’t render npubs which makes our report unpleasant on the eye.

If the goal is to try and bring new users over from Twitter, then a visually appealing client like Primal is a great tool to do it.

Also, if we are posting the report daily, we could start showcasing different clients to show off the possibilities with Nostr.

What do you mean by "doesn't render npubs"?

Nevermind, I get it.

Well, it could render npubs, but it is only trying to be a quick hub for other clients and not a full-fledged client on itself.

One of the things I mentioned to nostr:npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy with nostr.band links is some form of branding.

Across these various sharing mechanisms I’m yet to see any which are distinct / branded so that you can easily tell it is #nostr content in the same way when you see a FB/Insta/Twitter share/screenshot it is immediately recognisable.

Understand that’s difficult across many client front ends but when we uniquely have Zaps ⚡️ here, something should be possible.
