Is someone here into GNU Taler?

I just learned that you could have it Bitcoin-backed and I ask myself what the centralization risks would be. It‘s the same as with custodial wallets, right? It all depends on the clearing interval.

Cashu does not have an expiration date.

There is no single company behind cashu, as it is an open protocol.
