Can you find me amongst the Redwood trees?

Standing among the tallest trees in the world, I feel insignificant.

Thousands of years old, a human lifetime is but childhood for these beings. my time among them but a passing thought or fleeting moment.

Earth is home to the universeā€™s greatest achievements, life in its many forms thrives. Appreciation, respect, admiration, love, and recognition of that achievement is a duty we all share.

i live by redwoods but i feel not nearly as giant as these. hike in them every week if i can. where is this?

These ones are in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, where one of the few remaining stands of old-growth redwoods exist in the world. Highly recommend. Humans often donā€™t appreciate life until itā€™s almost gone, and the tallest and some of the oldest living beings on the planet exist in this park, one can only imagine what has been lost to tables and chairs.
