it’s mostly a meme tbh, Americans mostly believe the Europeans don’t have any AC units here πŸ˜‚

I have never in my life frozen in a taxi like I did in New York. It was 30C degrees outside and 15C degrees in the taxi. From Brooklyn to Manhattan 30-40 minutes drive and you leave with a cold throat and goosebumps. Same in the hotels. I prefere when its too hot than too cold πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

My vocal coach has always told me that AC will completely murder your voice, so if you ever have any sort of a performance coming up, stay the hell away from AC and open windows πŸ˜‚πŸ’œ

I agree πŸ’― Even without any perormancies it is better to avoid it πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ (just my opinion)

Yeah, I don't get why they have to set it so low. I get that if you are somewherein the desert with over 40C in the shade, you might like to get it in low 30s, maybe high 20s inside, but anything bellow ~23C is uncomfortable, needlessly expensive and unhealthy.

Yesss, I agree! It should be colder but come on, not such a huge difference. Taxi drivers sit in hoodies and jackets and me in a summer dress freezing to death πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

🀣🀣🀣 this sounds ridiculous

it is! πŸ˜‚ or or at least for a European in the USA πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ

Making a mental note on this one, if I were to visit the US one day πŸ€£πŸ’œ
