First, I question why you feel obligated to help your boss learn something. That can lead to expectations and blaming you down the road.
If he is asking you and you don’t already do 3d printing, I doubt he has the aptitude for it.
Next, my answer is the same for any other “how to” question. You tube.
If he hasn’t already looked on you tube, take it away from him.
I actually have a good work relationship with my boss, I don't see him as an adversary. We have a workplace where we learn together.
I'm actually asking the question because I get free access to an expensive tool, and it is a learning opportunity. Thanks for the help! đź«‚
