Yeah, but look at the billions the West also has spent on Palestine. Germany, especially, was literally pouring money into Hamas for years, for humanitarian aid, and it was all siphoned off and spent on military.

Germany's development fund kept installing irrigation systems and water treatment facilities, on the same spot, over and over, and they'd quickly start failing. Took them years to realize that Hamas was crushing local agriculture and poisoning the drinking water with LITERAL SEWAGE, by digging up the canalisation to make pipe bombs out of it.

The Palestinians voted for those asswipes.

non-interference is a virtue. no governments have it.

they steal from peter to give to paul and then people wonder why there is constant discord

also, it's a classic picture of how all poor countries get poor. corrupt governments, getting loads of money from sob stories, and then using it to systematize their oppression.

without the mechanism of a monopoly on violence, which happens because people have become inured to it, there can't be this shit.

africa is a country rich in resources, but because the place is overrun by violent thugs pretending to be helping people, they are dirt poor, and american and european corporations are raking in the cash from selling their cheaply acquired resources as expensive products to people who are stupid enough to keep voting.

like War Games, when it comes to voting, the only winning move is to not play.

Yeah, it's a classic scenario, but definitely the argumentum ad absurdum variation.

I just think most people get emotionally caught up in the gory pictures and fail to ask the most obvious question:

If the government in Gaza can't feed the civilians,

WHAT ARE THEIR SOLDIERS EATING?

but then all those poor executives in military hardware manufacturing would have to find a real job instead of having the biggest segment of the government budget and thus the greatest contributor to national debt and the endless increase of taxation

Yeah, but the sad thing is that the poorest countries often spend an even higher percentage of their income on military. That's what we're watching play out, over there.

All of that money, and it went to drones and pipe bombs and birth jihad, rather than to sustainable development and uplifting the citizenry. Martyr checks for moms with too many sons because they couldn't figure out where babies come from, so that they happily take money to strap a bomb vest on one and cry some crocodile tears for the TV. Charming.

The truth is, the Palestinians living in Israel are better-served by their government. That's why the migration only flows in one direction. Talk is cheap and Internet rhetoric is easy and being antisemitic makes people feel edgy, even though it's so tiresome and literally medieval.

The people on the ground, whose lives and well-being are personally at stake, have voted with their feet.

Everyone who managed to leave any territory run by Hamas is 💯 winning at life, even if they moved to one run by a bunch of Jews. The end.

Just look at the UNRWA. Probably the main culprit, in this whole affair. Budget in 2022 was $1,17 billion. Most of that goes to local "charities" and development projects run by the same people who started this war. We all now get to see what they actually spent the money on and I'm underwhelmed.

Our tax dollars at work. Over $300/year/person. That money has been flowing in a gigantic stream, for over half a century, in addition to the money from Caritas, the Red Cross, etc., but a war erupts and THERE IS IMMEDIATELY NO FOOD.
