Yesterday I rumbled about Jeff Booth's "Abundance in money creates scarcity everywhere" mantra phrase. Today I want to elucubrate about the phrase with which Jeff follows it up: "Scarcity in money creates abundance everywhere".
A world where money is scarce, as I believe Jeff is envisioning, is a world that discourages overconsumption and rewards low time preference behavior. In this world, the fruit of your labor, stored in a non-inflationary money, does not rotten over time. This means that, as technology automates more of our repetitive jobs, we have to work less to maintain the same life-style.
Remember everything falls to the marginal cost of production in Bitcoin terms.
This is what Paul Lafarge called "The Right to be Lazy" in 1883. I call it, the right to have free time and be a creative human being, the right to enjoy life and not have to chase money because life gets harder and harder every day.
Watched Jeff's interview last night. Brilliant 👏

I’ve had to listen to him many times to really understand what he’s saying. It’s deep.
