I understand that bitcoin attracts “post political” cryptoanarchists who eschew electoral politics in favor of technical workarounds to secure liberty, and I love that about it.

But the reality is when you have powerful US senators gunning for you, part of defending your political interests is probably going to involve… political interest groups that can fight back.
