When I was in college I mined diamonds in Arkansas State Park. The best were in the bedrock of the river flowing through. The cracks caught the diamonds for millions of years.

The park service blocked off the river, for safety. Inly a couple feet deep. Yeah right.

Sold them to the tourists for spending money.

A lot of work. Easier to haul hay.
