This should be a must-see for even experienced game designers. It's almost embarrassing to see how bad some concepts are explained even in AAA-titles, like D2 here for example. Assuming your audience is well versed in game concepts is a sure fire recipe to lose less versed gamers within the first 5 minutes. Make your game as intuitive as possible and at the same time don't waste their time!

nostr:npub1pn28h0hfhxqlzl56xwukwr4j5n4j4hzweut5hjqgmyg0prmxscxsmges8s oh wow I need to see this. New games are so needlessly complex. I remember quitting trying Doom Eternal partway through its ridiculous tutorial. It's all too much. Games should be intuitive and easy to figure out.
