what i have done is make it so it updates the feed to include a new post immediately at the top when you make it

I'm not seeing new notes button on nostr:npub17n4cuc4d6y6qh89dekvxrenfkt5s0n49xns00uavjaxpr36c55dq87fyh9. It needs to pull down to refresh now. Do you think the last changes introduced a regression bug?
