If you want a NIP-57 enabled Zap, so they get counted or show up on Nostr, you'd need to use one of the wallet providers that currently support it. Wallet of Satoshi is working on this, I don't know if it's fully working yet? As of yesterday, it was not.

are the only ones that I know of that are fully working and integrated as of yesterday.

many others are being worked on and will support this new standard soon.

If you're looking to just send tips, every single Lightning wallet works for that.

Anybody know if zaps will be counted retroactively once wallets integrate support?

Like once #[6] implements NIP-57 zap support, then posts that collected zaps before will show?

No because the action of the transaction needs to be attached to a Nostr event in order to be recorded by the relays.
