Related, how to preserve existing trees from the axe of time?
Life happens and sometimes we have little choice in the trees that fell. We can be present for what, if anything, is rebuilt/replanted in its place.
Ya I hear that. 2021-22 was for me a year of finding out I had much more say than I thought. Then 2022-23 was about finding out how little that really is sometimes.
Get with the programme guys, we're cutting the trees down for carbon storage because ....reasons.

No one knows for sure. I think the best you can do is whatever you think and feel it is right and hope for the best, is a leap of feith.
You don’t know for sure. But I think it’s better to question how your actions or inaction could play out down the line. Rather than never question at all.

Take part in education. You don't need to become a full time teacher, there's always a need for someone who can help out in refugee's camp, shelters etc. Part time voluntary work. Nothing beats that IMO
