yeah, i think the way to do it is to use ephemeral events and have a little server that opens up and maintains a subscription and you then use it for carrying short messages

regarding actual file storage, it wouldn't take much to add a blossom server to the same endpoint, i think semisol was discussing some idea to add more protocol handling stuff to the http server, that would be the way to do it, like how i have already got some simple services, import and export
