The amount of issues I encounter when using SimpleX is staggering.

Rooms just endlessly download idle content making them useless until finished (which can take hours, depending on idle time) instead of pulling the latest messages first and filling in the rest lazily.

Desktop QR codes don't work because of version conflicts when I have both apps in their latest versions.

Desktop database unlocked dozens of times using my passphrase from a password manager. Then it just stops working.

Contact sharing QR codes don't work because of random errors.
