i made so many loli related jokes with normie friends in around 2017-2018 and at most they'd go "haha what the heck okay" but now those same people would go "kill yourself you disgusting pedophile, fucking freak"

and that always stuck with me about how lolicon isn't really the issue and that society just changed to be more hate filled or cancel culture like.

I swear they are just pent up. I've seen antis tear eachother apart calling eachother pedos. Like they have this need to "expose" someone for secretly having a paraphilia. Maybe if they encounter a few real pedophiles every once in a while they'd realize how cringe they are being.
