His spam filter is useless. I've never seen it block a legitimate spammer. Only accounts of real people. And I've seen multiple people complain about it. It should just be disabled. It is the worst coded spam filter in existence. Spam filters from the 90s would probably work better.

i haven't seen an optimism bot in a very, very long time. my followers seem to be vigilant and report them often. maybe the people in your network aren't reporting as often as mine are reporting?

I dunno man. I can't tell you the last time I saw one of those bots. I see them on Snort but I don't see them on Amethyst.
