The NHS exists almost exclusively to peddle drugs to those weakened by consumption of the toxins introduced to the food chain. Never mind "fixing" the health service, whatever that is supposed to mean. Fix the soil and fix your intake; it works.

Back in my day we had geezers to get drugs from, not doctors.

Curious to know what countries do you think have a well functioning health system?

His argument was that if you fix the food, you rely less on a health system, so I would imagine whichever country has a decent diet.

It's a good question. I guess it depends on whether you're talking about Emergency Care which is largely better in advanced medical systems or chronic disease management which often is not.

Both but more so the funding model. In the UK we’re in this weird public/private arrangement that for the most part helps private interests extract public capital, whilst making life harder for those working in the service and worsening conditions for patients.

I’m open minded but I think the current public/private model sucks.

Saying new money fixes it is easy to say but until I see a model working I remain unconvinced. Yes people living healthier lifestyles makes a huge difference but even healthy people can get sick or damage themselves sometimes.

Same with jabs. Medicine for healthy people that ends up making the healthy people unwell. Like my mother in law got pole axed by the flu jab she got 10 days before Xmas.

Hope she's better Aaron.

Someone one said, it's a national sick service, not health service. I think it was The Escape Artist
