Been doing different patterns of fasting for the last seven years. Haven’t found any rational low time preference centered reason to change that. Mostly OMAD during the week now as I think having family meal with my wife and children daily is better. If I lived by myself I’d do quarterly fasts of at least 5 days duration. Have done 5 day fasts a number of times and felt well. When you feel like you’re fasting a long time, always remember that one guy that fasted over a year and revitalized his health.
