The progressive left fears Bitcoin because it eliminates their capacity for redistributive control through monetary policy, while the establishment right cannot reconcile decentralized sovereignty with their instinct for institutional hierarchy. Both mistake their dependency on fiat intermediation for political principle, unable to recognize that monetary sovereignty precedes all other freedoms.
