I am by no means an expert on this topic, but from what I heard you can go the Atb way if you recognize it early, which is difficult with appendicitis, because of its varying symptoms 🙈.

Went to the doc today and they recommended me to basically do nothing and to directly go to the hospital in case of extreme pains.
